President Trump signed an executive order to release hundreds of criminals, many violent toward police officers, into the country. During his campaign, he expressed concern that violent criminals were being set loose in our country.
That did not stop him from unconditionally pardoning over 1500 January 6th rioters on his first day as president.
It was a top priority for the president.
Many of these men and women are repeat criminals. Many pled guilty to assaulting police officers. Several are unrepentant members of domestic terror groups. Here are a few of the highlights:
“Daniel Joseph Rodriguez pleaded guilty earlier this year to multiple felony counts and admitted to the FBI that he drove a stun gun into the neck of then-Metropolitan Police Department officer Michael Fanone.”
After receiving his pardon, “Jacob Chansley, the convicted rioter widely described as the “QAnon Shaman,” posted on social media, ‘THANK YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP!!! NOW I AM GONNA BUY SOME MOTHA FU*KIN GUNS!!!'”
“Peter Francis Stager helped drag the officer down the steps of the Capitol, then ‘forcibly and repeatedly’ struck him, say prosecutors.” He used items such as a flagpole to attack the helpless officer.
David Dempsey – “Prosecutors said he ‘viciously assaulted and injured police officers’ at the Capitol that day, climbing over other rioters like ‘human scaffolding’ to reach the front of the crowd. There, he began a ‘prolonged attack’ on law enforcement using his hands, flagpoles, broken furniture, pepper spray and ‘anything else he could get his hands on.'”
There’s lots more where that came from.
Family members and others who testified against rioters now fear for their safety.
